Practical No 9: Find the mean, median and mode of the following data: 11, 25, 28, 37, 65, 47, 58, 59, 78, 14.

Aim

To find the mean, median and mode of the following data: 11, 25, 28, 37, 65, 47, 58, 59, 78, 14

Theory

Geogebra has dual representation namely the Geometric View and the Algebraic View. One can construct or modify geometric figures in the geometric section and observe details about the constructed figures in the Algebraic Section. Furthermore constructions can also be performed by typing in the appropriate command in the Input Box.

  1. Geogebra Input Bar.

Procedure

1. Open Geogebra. In the Input Box at the bottom of the Geogebra Window type

Mean[11,25,28,37,65,47,58,59,78,14].

Press Enter.

2. In the Algebra section under the Number tab mean will be displayed as a = 42.2
